He remarked, “It’s funny, she was a very successful model, very, very successful, and yet she was a private person. She’s going to be out a lot. Not because she likes doing it, but she likes the results.” He added, “She wants to see this country really succeed. She loves the country.”
Trump further highlighted Melania’s private nature, contrasting her with other First Ladies. He noted, “You know, a lot of first ladies would go out — they want to be everywhere. They get angry at their husband because he’s not introducing them.” He continued, “If I didn’t introduce Melania, she’d be very happy about it. She’s just a different kind of a person.”
Melania’s presence in NYC for Trump’s trial has been mostly private. However, on Tuesday, June 3, she was seen leaving Trump Tower with her towering son Barron and piles of luggage. According to the New York Post, it was her first public appearance since the “hush money” trial, which she called a “disgrace.”
Her outfit during this appearance was particularly striking. The New York Post reported that Melania wore a “chic gold-brown jumpsuit” and carried a matching purse. Walking alongside her, 18-year-old Barron Trump donned a blue suit and white shirt without a tie.

During an event at Mar-a-Lago hosting Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, Melania turned heads in a sleek white pantsuit, black shirt, and black heels. The American Tribune noted her dramatic and beautiful entrance, accompanied by Ray Orbison’s song “Pretty Woman,” as she received a bouquet of flowers from Prime Minister Orbán.
