Sofia Vergara publicly proclaims her love for new boyfriend – and you might recognize him
Sofia Vergara, the celebrated star of the recent series “Griselda,” has been making headlines once again, this time due to her romantic life. After her much-talked-about split from actor Joe Manganiello, it appears that she’s found a new love interest. And the lucky man? None other than Dr. Justin Saliman!
Dr. Saliman, an orthopedic surgeon, was spotted accompanying Vergara for dinner in Beverly Hills last October. The actress, looking stunning in a black corset paired with purple suede pants and black heels, kept things low-key about their budding romance.
A graduate in sports medicine from Stanford, Dr. Saliman has an impressive career. He cared for San Francisco 49ers and Stanford athletes before earning his medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Now, he practices at the renowned Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles and is best known for inventing the NovoStitch Pro Meniscal Repair System, which was acquired by medical technology company Smith & Nephew in 2019 for a staggering $105 million.
Apart from his groundbreaking inventions, Dr. Saliman is considered one of the world’s leading authorities on sewing meniscus tears back together.
As for his relationship with Vergara, things seem to be going smoothly. Just a month after their first public appearance together, sources revealed that their relationship was “going great,” with Vergara choosing to take things slow.
Fast forward five months, and Vergara is ready to publicly declare her love for Dr. Saliman. In an Instagram post, she shared a picture of Dr. Saliman by her bedside following a major knee surgery. In the caption, she humorously wrote, “If u ever get a [major] knee surgery make sure u Get a handsome doctor who will sleep with u that night!!!! Luv u Dr @jdsaliman.”
This revelation comes as a delightful surprise to fans, as Vergara has kept her love life under wraps since her divorce from Manganiello was finalized earlier this month.
